I became an Ambassador in September 1971. I spent 35 years as a development director at UW-L and became an ambassador to meet, greet and extend a welcome to the new people and businesses coming into the Greater La Crosse area. I think La Crosse is a very special place and I love telling people the reasons they should live and do business here.

Stay involved with the Freedom Honor Flight, Riverfest, Irishfest, Chamber, Convention Bureau and of course, Rotary Lights.

I work at Marine Credit Union as an AVP of Consumer Branch Lending. I joined the Chamber Ambassador team in 2016 to be better connected to the community where I live and work. The additional benefits were the continuous opportunities to learn and develop within the La Crosse area.

I am a Business Services Consultant with the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

I help connect Wisconsin businesses to reliable and qualified untapped talent pools, gain a competitive edge, and increase inclusiveness and diversity or their workforce. I proactively develop relationships with area business to help them recruit, hire, and retain people with varying abilities and act as a resource for businesses to gain access to all other DWD programs & services.

I have been proudly serving as a La Crosse Chamber Ambassador since 2014 and strive to be a valuable resource for La Crosse Chamber members by collaborating with my Business Services Team & Workforce Partners to maximize outcomes and support area businesses!

 
 
 

Hello, I am so glad you are here learning more about the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador program and our incredible ambassadors! I am Whitney Hegseth, Chamber Ambassador, and Integrated Marketing Communications Manager for Gensler a global architecture, design and SaaS firm. I currently oversee our B2B SaaS solution, Wisp by Gensler’s marketing functions and align them with current business needs, as well as the future needs of our growing and innovative business. Through this role, I have implemented a full digital marketing strategy, created a holistic content marketing plan with an emphasis on blog writing and strategic SEO conversions, and created a larger and more engaged brand presence specific to the Wisp brand.
 
I have been an ambassador since the fall of 2019 and originally got involved to connect with local professionals in the area and to give back to the Chamber because of all they do for professionals, our local businesses and our overall community! Since being an ambassador, I have cultivated relationships far beyond expectations and continue to grow and learn from our local leaders. Hello everyone! I am extremely passionate and an open book.   I rarely turn down an opportunity for a challenge or an adventure. She will quickly become your best friend, community connector, cheerleader, shoulder to cry on, detective, collaborator, and most importantly a person that truly cares about your business, family and our community.  

Allison enjoys singing, dancing, spending time with her 9-year-old son, biking, drinking wine, pickleball, playing cards, board games, snow skiing, traveling, laughter, hiking, soaking up the sun, dreaming big, and reading.   

Allison is very involved in her local community, including president and past president of the Women’s Alliance of La Crosse and the Marketing Committee Chair.  She is an Ambassador of the La Crosse County Chamber.  She is also on the Marketing Committee for the Coulee Region Business Center.  Involvement in the local community has always been a passion for her so she is very fortunate that her career supports that. 

I became an ambassador to give back to the Chamber team who does so much for our community.  Being an ambassador is also an awesome networking opportunity and a way to build stronger relationships with other professionals in the community.
