Wisconsin is currently facing a statewide transportation infrastructure problem. For example, in Wisconsin's 15 urbanized areas, only 15% of the highway system is rated good and just over half is considered acceptable according to a recent study.
Come hear about what's being done to address this from special guest, Wisconsin Department of Transportation Secretary Craig Thompson as he discusses the state of transportation in Wisconsin, what we can expect to see from the Department of Transportation in 2020 and the years to come, and the state of transportation infrastructure in our region.
UWL Political Science and Public Administration Professor Anthony Chergosky and Professor Emeritus Joe Heim will open the event by sharing unique insights on the February 18th Supreme Court Primary Election and the Governor's State of the State Address, which happened on January 22nd.
