Join us on the virtual event for one or all the sessions and add perspective from your business or industry on these critical issues below.

Childcare
Meeting with Dept. of Children and Families Secretary Emilie Amundson

The Childcare session will request expanded financial and structural support from the State to address the childcare crisis in its entirety from issues of access and affordability to retention of providers.

10:00AM – 11:00AM

Transportation 
Meeting with Dept. of Transportation Secretary Craig Thompson

The Transportation session will speak with DOT and state legislators on continued support for safe and adequate roads, recommendations within the State’s electrical vehicle infrastructure, aid for our Regional Airport, and support for expanding our outdoor recreation and trail systems.

UW-La Crosse Prairie Springs Science Center Phase II
Meeting with Dept. of Administration Assistant Deputy Secretary Olivia Hwang

The UW-La Crosse Prairie Spring Completion/Cowley Hall Demolition Project session will cover details of the $110 million proposed project and its workforce and economic impact on the region.

Workforce
Meeting with Dept. of Workforce Development Deputy Secretary Pamela McGillivray

The Workforce session will encourage the State to continue to support workforce initiatives like Talent Attraction & Retention, Pathways & Apprenticeship Programs, and Credential & Licensing.
