For organizations to thrive in today’s environment, leaders need to build strong teams and model how to interact with customers, co-workers, and leadership in a professional manner. This session will look at ways we work best together and communicate every day, as well as increasing our understanding of our own personality and behavior and those of others. Special focus will be on improving workplace relationships across multigenerations by exploring emotions that help us reach our goals and those habits that hold us back. With the use of real-life examples and support from the applicable research and tools, discussion will center on actions each participant can apply immediately back on the job.
Learning Objectives:
• Identify the key components of personality and emotional intelligence.
• Review the emotional intelligence models as related to the work environment, leadership, and communication.
• Evaluate current research findings to help improve teamwork.
